OOC intro/mingle posts in Ethyraia serve a dual function as CR memes for current players. The hope is that this will encourage current players to scan through and greet our new players. Take this opportunity to get to know your fellow players, plan hatching log threads, check-in regarding the keeping of TDM threads (which can be made game canon), find plot hooks, and plan for future CR.
(In the future, we will have a thread at the top of the post for new players to link their comments, to help boost visibility — please keep an eye out for this in the future! Obviously, this round, everyone is new.)

JOURNAL:
INFO: Kings a modernized retelling of the biblical Book of Kings, Jack being the analog for Jonathan of the Tribe of Benjamin. Jack himself is not very biblical, or religious, or even that nice, unless you have something he wants. His life has been repressing common morality and less common sexuality for the approval/respect of his father and his nation, while getting real murdery over some douche named David inching in on his crown. He's since attempted and failed at a coup, and rather than live out the really gross sentence his dad, the king, passed down, he's here, being birthed from a goo-egg.
SKILLS: He is a war veteran and army officer in his world, a lawyer, a crown prince, and a diplomat (when it counts, and when he cares). Otherwise, his skills are few and far between. Dude was raised in a royalty bubble, he's a bit out of touch.
AREAS OF INTEREST: Exploration!! Team/community building, meta plot investigating. Mostly I just want to establish some CR and see where it goes. I'm kind of bad at action threading but that just means I'm slower replying.
PLANS/GOALS: Same as above - establish CR, see where it goes. Jack will be keen to make strong allies and find people he can hide behind when shit hits the fan. Long term, I'm not too sure yet. We'll see?
CR PREFERENCES: Friends, frienemies, drinking buddies, anyone with Judeo-Christian religious ties that might get a kick out of Bible Boi, war buddies with ptsd to commiserate with, casual gay sex hook ups? He's very far in the closet, though, so even that'll take time to get to. Legit romance will be really difficult with Jack, strong CR required, and no promises for fidelity, he's bad at it.
