OOC intro/mingle posts in Ethyraia serve a dual function as CR memes for current players. The hope is that this will encourage current players to scan through and greet our new players. Take this opportunity to get to know your fellow players, plan hatching log threads, check-in regarding the keeping of TDM threads (which can be made game canon), find plot hooks, and plan for future CR.

(In the future, we will have a thread at the top of the post for new players to link their comments, to help boost visibility — please keep an eye out for this in the future! Obviously, this round, everyone is new.)

Note: If we find that combining these functions isn't working, we'll reevaluate this set-up. Please don't hesitate to share your feedback.

REMINDERS:

☆ The HATCHING LOG goes up on 05/21. Because pretty much everyone was on the TDM, we're going to expand this one considerably to extend beyond what was present there. Expect additional prompts!

INFO: Orphaned deposed princess turned literal queen of dragons and liberator of slave cities, then fallen to grieving conqueror after a series of unfortunate events.
SKILLS: Daenerys is an accomplished politician and strategist. She also spent a number of days and nights in a desert without water and food besides the horses they were riding on.
AREAS OF INTEREST: She is almost certainly going to try and worm her way into positions that involve decision making because of who she is as a person now. Also, once she figures out that they're operating out of a dragon corpse, she's likely going to focus on that history.
PLANS/GOALS: Daenerys is going to need to work on building trust and relationships she cares about again. She's coming from mid-season 8 after almost all of her friends and close confidants are dead, right before she makes the decision that ultimately will result in her death. So patient (or clever and manipulative) people who want an accomplished leader and dragon queen on their side, COME TO ME. She would do terrible things for people she cares about.
CR PREFERENCES: WE'RE JUST STARTING, HIT ME WITH ALL THAT! Daenerys might come off as distant or hostile early on the CR path without a hook involved, but I'd love to keep a pos/neg CR balance going.
MISC HOOKS: Drogon is coming with Dany, and he's HUGE. He's also resistant to the acid rain and will likely be eyeballing other animals brought in as snacks. Dany herself has long silver hair that is always tied up in intricate braids -- but seeing that she is missing her handmaidens here, PLEASE give me hair braiding CR. Not even kidding a little.
