MAY MINGLE & CR MEME ❀
OOC intro/mingle posts in Ethyraia serve a dual function as CR memes for current players. The hope is that this will encourage current players to scan through and greet our new players. Take this opportunity to get to know your fellow players, plan hatching log threads, check-in regarding the keeping of TDM threads (which can be made game canon), find plot hooks, and plan for future CR.
(In the future, we will have a thread at the top of the post for new players to link their comments, to help boost visibility — please keep an eye out for this in the future! Obviously, this round, everyone is new.)

INFO: Psychologist, criminal profiler, and FBI agent, in that order. Lance is super empathetic, compassionate, and generally a nice person; his life has and continues to suck, but he uses that to do his best to make other people's lives suck less. He's also full of salt and Opinions and has a great track record of making enemies five minutes into being in a new game, so we'll see how this goes.
SKILLS: He's probably going to end up actually putting his psychologist skills to use, and he has both a gun and some magic if he has to go out into the field, but he's much better suited to planning and puzzle-solving.
AREAS OF INTEREST: Exploration! Figuring out ways to make day-to-day survival easier, because that's what Lance will fixate on as something he can do.
PLANS/GOALS: Too early to say I think; I like to play by ear what's going on in game and what develops naturally. From a character standpoint he has a lot of issues to work out, but although that's a slow process for him that's definitely something in the plans.
CR PREFERENCES: Anything! I'm completely fine with negative CR (and he constantly gets into it) and I love the opposite too, as well as complex CR where it's not so easy to decide if they get along or not. Everything's good.
MISC HOOKS: He's done the world-hopping thing twice already, he's very genuinely concerned about people he's never even met and so will strike up conversation with people who seem like they need someone to talk to, and also he wears light up sneakers.
