CHARACTER NAME: Cal Kestis CANON:Star Wars JOURNAL:psychometries INFO: cal is from star wars in general and jedi: fallen order in particular. for those unfamiliar with the game, cal is the jedi and his order has fallen. and for those unfamiliar with a star war, he's basically a space wizard with a cool laser sword and a Tragic Backstory.
that said, cal is just a good egg who's just doin his very best fighting fascism and expanding his poncho collection. he has like 4 friends (one is a droid) and at least 10 trauma, so pls don't be mean to him. he's shaped like a friend. SKILLS: probably fighting, mostly! he's handy with his laser sword. he's also pretty good with machines and fixing things, and he thinks exploring hostile alien planets is a good time. AREAS OF INTEREST: is it cheating to say everything? i'd love to do lots of exploration and stuff with him, because that's kind of his jam and he's a real champ at sticking his nose where it doesn't belong. mostly it would be really nice for him to just bond with people, because he's had kind of a rough go of it for a while and, as mentioned above, he has less friends than fingers. PLANS/GOALS: see above! pls be his friend!! found family is my weakness, so i'd love to work towards something like that. other than that, i'm honestly just winging it, my dudes. CR PREFERENCES: people who are, like, nice to him, since that is a rarity for him. he's a pretty friendly, chill guy, so he can get along with a wide variety of characters! teens around his own age, older adults to take him under their wing, etc. i'll take it all. MISC HOOKS: a few things! one, he's able to use psychometry, which basically allows him to touch objects and see the memories/feelings attached to them, so!! if your character brought in something neat and/or traumatic that's some sweet, sweet cr building right there. two, his jedi deal is fourthwallable (it's a word now) if your character would be familiar with star wars.
three, and most importantly(!!), he's coming in with his droid, BD-1, who is the bestest best boy, and that IS a hill i would die on. BD-1 is a curious little guy who follows cal around everywhere he goes, so expect to get scanned at some point. NOTES: obligatory gif:
