CHARACTER NAME: Jon Snow CANON: Game of Thrones, plus a Meadowlark CRAU JOURNAL:northerndragon INFO: Jon is in his mid-twenties but vibes a little older. He comes from a medieval fantasy setting, where he was raised as a nobleman’s bastard and left home at an early age to become a soldier in a kind of border guard. Due to a lot of political upheaval, as well as the deaths of a number of family members, he has recently become the king of his region, something he would never have expected growing up. At home, he’s preparing to fight a war that seems unwinnable, because it’s against a huge army of ice zombies. He was originally pulled from the end of 7x02, sometime during his trip from Winterfell to Dragonstone. The CRAU mostly gives him some interactions with a few characters and makes him far more comfortable with future tech than he would be fresh from canon, so that there are fewer “what does [unfamiliar term] mean?” threads in our future than there otherwise might be. He worked in a bar, he did plot stuff, etc. As far as personality, affable is a pretty good word to describe Jon, but he is also more aloof and prone to introverted brooding than he probably initially seems. He doesn’t like bullies or shady types, but other than that he seems to get along reasonably well with most people. SKILLS: Jon is a very skilled and experienced outdoorsman, as well as a highly trained medieval warrior type. He’s good at hunting, fishing, fighting, dealing with adverse and minimalist living conditions, etc. He also comes with some non-canon CRAU powers in the form of super strength, super super strength (it’s a long story), and minor pyrokinesis. AREAS OF INTEREST: For the moment, any and everything; I think more specific hooks will come later on. But if there is exploring to be done, he’s willing and able. PLANS/GOALS: My goals in a game honestly usually just involve participating in the game’s plot to whatever extent I can. Past that, Jon always needs friends and people who have his back. Anyone who gets him to actually talk about his problems is a plus. It is likely that he and Dany will be attempting to work out some of their nonsense, too: he’s from before the relationship happened, and she’s from after it started to fall apart. CR PREFERENCES: The game is so new that I’m open to a lot; certainly, Jon is a character who enjoys camaraderie. MISC HOOKS: GHOST IS HERE. He is a pony-size albino direwolf. Astute observers might note that Jon also has a Cool Sword and that it’s pommel... looks like Ghost. This is exactly the same thing as a guy using a picture of his dog on his Lock Screen, and you’re welcome to do stuff with that. There will be a Ghost prompt in Jon’s intro log TLs.
