She's crying, but instead of red, her eyes have gone grey-black. He's seen humans crying before, but suddenly as Connor watches her he wonders if crying really helps.
Maybe he should cry too. With that thought, he's surprised to feel his eyes burn. It's a weird sensation and he doesn't like it at all. He blinks that back furiously.]
