[Trish has already shown Bruno the side of her that's scared, and lonely, and sad...there's no need to do so again when she's trying to be independent. If anything, she wonders at herself too...but then she remembers that the Trish that met Passione and the Trish that survived after them are entirely separate people. This Trish is still left afloat, unsure of where to go or what to be now that everything she knew had been erased in an instant. So being dumped in an alien land hasn't changed much for her at all, has it? She's as lost now as she was before this. How do you give directions when you don't have any?!
She's a terrible boss, isn't she?
The energy to be agitated is slowly leeching away also, leaving Trish to feel as heavy and sagging as her clothes, but she merely repositions herself so she's turned somewhat away from Bruno, curled over her knees in a very familiar pose.]
I was thinking the same thing. It wouldn't make sense to escape when we don't even know where we are.
[Sigh.]
As much as I'd like to find a river to jump into.
[If Bruno thinks she's being funny, she's not. She would rather be doused in cold, dirty river water at this point than the viscous slime they're being forced to endure.]
