Still, Bruno feels like he's doing just slightly better when he hears that Giorno won, that everything is okay. He never had any doubts up until just now, when he laid eyes on her; it's good to know his faith was well-placed. And it's good to know, too, that there weren't any other casualties. He can't stop to think about them now; he'll feel it too keenly when he's this tired, this vulnerable. Instead, he just silently gives thanks that Giorno, Mista and Trish made it out.

Her question is perfectly sensible. Bruno wishes he had a sensible answer for it that would explain everything. Once again, to his credit, he does an excellent job of mostly hiding the flash of guilt he feels when she mentions his last moments. Not regret. Just guilt for leaving them alone - especially her, who had already lost basically everything and everyone else. ]

... That's right. I don't have a clear sense of how much time has passed since then - the next thing I remember is waking up here.
