( Unlike someone, Ian's got empathy. He's patient, calm, gives the guy time to just sit there and try to process it all. Doesn't seem like he's got any plans to drag Takoda through the highlights and checkpoints at any kind of rapid-fire pace, doesn't seem like he's uncomfortable as hell shoving his broad ass down onto the edge of a bunk here.

What he finally says earns a quiet, genuine chuckle from him. It's been over a year since he's heard anyone mention Carol, over a year since he heard the last joke about her.

Maybe he missed some Takoda things. Tiny things. Super small barely counts things. Catch him never admitting that shit out loud. )
