( It's probably a good thing Takoda wasn't here when the Thessyx visited. They didn't look remotely like the Judge, but if he's anything like Ian the revulsion would probably have been instinctive. He's not so sure Takoda would have handled it with Ian's patented method of drink a lot and then shove your face in work for eight straight days, not when there's an armory here.
Beyond that, the shell of the Adamant sits not too far away from this camp, and it's another one of those things that just feels wrong to look at, for him. Too big, too extra-terrestrial. There are a number of things here that might drag up some bad associations to the early days of the apocalypse.
But the pros outweigh the cons by a metric fuckton. )

Don't get me wrong, if you wander too far away from camp there's still a chance a fucking... alien velociraptor's gonna pick you off, but... as long as we can keep the crops growing and, like, meteors don't rain down from the heavens... we're good here.
