[ Takoda may not have been held at gunpoint or stuck with a spear, but waking up in a weird slimy egg could not have given him any more reason to be immediately hostile. Or at least, needlessly aggressive. Even before he has all his faculties about him he’s shrugging off help and smacking hands away, mumbling something along the lines of “get your fuckin’ hands off of me you alien fucks”. At least until his mind and vision clear and he no longer sees the tall frames of the Judge and instead sees…well, other people aren’t any better. But the swearing is less intense until it stops.
Eventually, he finds himself sitting in a bunk with clothes that are way too tight with a tube of protein paste in his hands. He notices a couple of children staring — it’s hard not to notice because they’ve been there for a good minute with their eyes plastered onto him and either it’s because of the too-tight clothes with a foul mood or, more likely, because of the person that he chooses to be, he leans forward and says quietly: ]
Where I come from…we turn children into protein paste.
[ Needless to say, he’s left alone after that. Which is all well and good because after the explanation for why he’s here is given he is filled with a rage so potent he’s convinced he can self destruct on command.]
