JULY MINGLE & CR MEME ❀
OOC intro/mingle posts in Ethyraia serve a dual function as CR memes for current players. The hope is that this will encourage current players to scan through and greet our new players. Take this opportunity to get to know your fellow players, plan hatching log threads, check-in regarding the keeping of TDM threads (which can be made game canon), find plot hooks, and plan for future CR.

This month is for wrapping up the conclusion of the June event and its fall-out, which works out nicely based on how things looked on our State of the Game post. While we are no longer accepting submissions for IC actions because the follow-up is drafted, take your time backthreading event things! Remember: as long as you aren't reusing the same thread you've already submitted for AC, new comments on backthreads are eligible for the current month's AC.

Unless someone claims it (please drop a note in Mod Questions if you do), the community outreach department will be collecting and redistributing these items.

INFO: jon is a victorian gentleman who went into medicine, and is now back to his theatre kid roots as he's been turned into a vampire. He is outwardly quite friendly and very formal, and perhaps a little too enthusiastic? about making sure you are all healthy. He doesn't want you to become the weaker ones in the herd, so to speak, because then he is going to see you as FoodTM, and nobody wants THAT...!
SKILLS: everything a doctor would be capable of in 1919, and he can catch up pretty quick with future first aid. He's used to discretion and won't ask about injuries
AREAS OF INTEREST: exploring, Helping, learning about where they are, etc.
PLANS/GOALS: UHHH just winging it. i have a network post up here!
CR PREFERENCES: Be his friend! Tell him exciting things about your world. he is a BIG busybody and fairly non-judgemental relative to a guy of his background. he won't be secretive about being a vampire though he's not going to make an announcement about it or anything, so ppl to be Cool With That would be great too
MISC HOOKS: jonathan looks/feels a Bit Off. his shadow is a bit more solid/can seem like they're moving/living, and he does have the bite wounds where his vampire sire bit him visible on his neck. i am cool with your character suspecting/knowing/figuring out!

We could have them on a shared medical shift or the tiny griffin can be an ice-breaker. Crow is more outgoing than Alex is so I may fall back on that one a few times.

Balthier is a gentleman pirate who pretends (poorly) to not care but in fact cares a great deal about the group good so they'd probably get along. He also really likes fine clothes and good tea and probably anything pretty out of the victorian era. I don't know if he knows what vampires are, but he's comfortable with non-human/humanoids.
