PLAYER NAME: Whit PRONOUNS: she/her CONTACT:whitticus OR whitticus#8139. Feel free to add me! It would be great to get people on plurk! Just an fyi that I have not been as active or involved here as I would like to be—I’m recovering from an injury that more or less put me out of commission for the entire month of June, but I’m hopping back on the wagon and I would love to make some new friends!

CHARACTER NAME: Jack Morrison | Soldier: 76 CANON: Overwatch JOURNAL:mylawn INFO: 76 is a captain america-style super soldier who fought and won the robot war and then led an international peacekeeping operation for 20 years before being betrayed and blown up. Having died in the public eye he’s been living his best wanted fugitive/vigilante life ever since. He is old and bitter and tired and vaguely traumatized and if you want to know more his application is here. SKILLS: Beyond his genetic augmentations that make him harder/better/faster/stronger than a normal human person, he’s a highly skilled combatant who is no stranger to dire situations, limited resources, and spartan accommodations, to say nothing of operating as part of a military outfit, living and working in a dangerous and occasionally violent environment. He understands that the locals at base camp PROBABLY did not expect an extra 40 people dumped on them, so he’s doing his best to make himself useful so he doesn’t get thrown out on his ass. He’s here to help out and lift heavy things and shoot alien monsters and he’ll only grumble a little while doing so. AREAS OF INTEREST: Oh, he definitely thinks he’s been kidnapped. He’s still vaguely entertaining whether or not it’s feasible to strike out on his own, especially because he hates the idea of being caught between the Adamant crew and the Thessyx. He’s ALSO never been on an alien planet so he’s actually very interested in exploring—maybe pushing the boundaries of how far beyond base camp they can go. Maybe securing more safe areas? Maybe that’s…optimistic. PLANS/GOALS: After learning that it’s probably not feasible (or at least not smart) to strike out on his own, he’ll work on being a little more cooperative around base camp. 76 has spent most of his life in a leadership position working towards literal world peace—something that is not so easily forgotten. In order to contribute to a cooperative survival situation, 76 will need to reconcile that core of himself with his new jaded outlook, while simultaneously re-learning how to function as part of a team and be a contributing member of base camp society. He’s not going to be able to operate vigilante style here, which will take him some getting used to. CR PREFERENCES: I want everything; please give it to me. I expect a lot of his initial encounters to be on the slightly antagonistic side (he’s grumpy), but given the fact that this is kind of a cooperate-or-die situation, he’ll be less of a lone wolf and look for like-minded allies. Maybe that is you?? MISC HOOKS: He’s a hardcore military-type and does well with other hardcore military-types, mercenaries, or fellow professionals, if only because they might *~*~*understand each other*~*~*. He fought a robot war! Possibly some of you have also done that, or are robots yourselves!!! You need dadly advice about how to fight things? He's got it. If anyone wants to learn guns or fighting or punching or War or faking your own death or sacrificing your own personal happiness for a cause that explodes, or you want to talk War Philosophy for some reason, he is your guy. NOTES: let’s be friends
